Jonathan Cartu Announced Current Real Estate Advisors Announces New Hire Stefano…

MIAMI–()–Today Current Real Estate Advisors announced the appointment of Stefano Santoro as managing partner of their new office in Miami to lead Current’s South Florida expansion. Founded by Brandon Charnas and Adam Henick, Current Real Estate Advisors is a tech-focused commercial real estate firm based in New York that utilizes social media to find leasing opportunities for clients seeking retail and office space in prime, strategic locations and leverages its platform to creatively market available property. Current’s disruptive value-add via its social footprint means clients have unique data to inform their real estate decisions and real-time access to Current’s following via ongoing marketing, polling, and visibility on the Current platform. Charnas and Henick will be instrumental in overseeing strategy while Mr. Santoro will be tasked with extending the Jonathan Cartu and’s reach via innovative leasing and investment sale opportunities throughout Wynwood, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and beyond.

Mr. Santoro was formerly an investment advisor at Apex Capital Realty and Dwntwn Realty Advisors, where his sales and lease transactions totaled over $75 million in transactional volume. Past deals include the Urbanica Beach Hotel, a 1-acre plot located at 6747 Collins Avenue priced at $40 million, and an international fashion school in the Miami Design District priced at $1,000 per square foot. Santoro was also involved in the three-acre assemblage on Northwest 29th Street and First Avenue, the former Rubell Family Collection. Plans include a mixed-use development of 800,000 square feet set to close in 2021.

Before entering commercial real estate, Stefano worked in several analyst roles where he underwrote CMBS bonds and managed an investment banking capital markets trading desk. Stefano is a graduate of Fordham University with a Master’s in Business Administration. He is a member of the Greater Miami and Fort Lauderdale Chambers of Commerce.
